(the first computer we owned was a ‘dell laptop’)
(my parents purchased it for me in ‘summer 2002’)
(‘my 18th birthday’)
(right before we entered 1st year @ “harvard” (‘fall 2002’))
(before that, we shared computers with the rest of the ‘family’)
(that was my ‘main computer’ until my parents bought me a ‘dell desktop’ in ‘summer 2005’)
(‘my 21st birthday’)
(and my ‘harvard (under)graduation’)
(“undergrad”) –> (alternate title for ‘harvard’ theme)
(so i gut ~3 years ot of that ‘dell laptop’)
(coincided with my ‘college years’)
(‘my collegiate computer’)
(how much did it cost?)
(how much is an updated version now?)
(i should’ve asked my parents for a ‘macbook’)
(what was the best laptop on the ‘market’ back then?)
(the harvard free wifi’ was reliable as far as i can remember)
(though this was before people started connecting wifi to their ‘smartphones’)
(back when people relied on their ‘computer’ for ‘internet access’)
(so a ‘laptop’ would be advantageous in this situation)
(though i never took it anywhere)
(only my ‘harvard dorm room’)
(and my watchung bedroom for ‘summers’)
that was my ‘main computer’ until my parents bought me a ‘dell desktop’ in ‘summer 2005’)
(‘my 21st birthday’)
(and my ‘harvard (under)graduation’)
(during first year @ ‘harvard’) –>
(i mostly used the laptop to download lots of music)
(using ‘limewire’)
(and watching DVDs)
(‘hot springs hotel’ and other ‘softcore may-decembers’)
(‘the sopranos’)
(i never even considered using it to record music)
(it probably wasn’t possible then)
(used it to check email)
(for ‘harvard.edu’ email address)
(via the ‘harvard email server website’)
(no ‘gmail’ back then)
(and collecting pictures of pretty girls)
(‘community webshots’)
(‘facethejury’)
(AIM)
(‘word processor’ for ‘academic obligations’)
(links to printers in most ‘undergraduate houses’)
(during 2nd year @ ‘harvard’, i started using the laptop mostly for) –>
(‘livejournal posts)
(facebook pics)
(during 3rd year @ harvard, i continued downloading lots of music via ‘limewire’)
(i started obsessively loading up on paul mccartney’s entire solo catalogue)
(and using ‘microsoft word’ to write songs)
(as ‘specifically” as possible in a program that couldn’t create ‘scores’ or ‘guitar tabs’)
