-as of [25 MAY 2024]–
.
(i bought a first ‘marshall solid-state amplifier’ during my ‘harvard years’)
(i also bought a ‘used marshall solid-state amplifier’ from the ‘springfield guitar center’ in ‘late 2009’ for $250…)
(i was looking for a more portable alternative to the VOX AC30 for ‘performances’)
(but the instrument signal cut in and out…)
(i used the ‘amp’ only once)
(in ‘december 2009’)
(ironically enough at brooklyn’s “vox pop cafe”)
(get it? ‘vox’?)
(“but i digress…”)
(my ‘guitar tones’ sounded TERRIBLE!)
(and that ended up being the ‘final show’ of the ‘jogabot trio’)
(though we didn’t know it then)
(or at least I didn’t know it then)
(with ‘ames’ on bass + ‘riff’ on drums)
(we just kinda petered out when we could hardly get anyone interested in following our band)
(same way my ‘college band’ had its last performance at the ‘owl garden party’ in ‘spring 2004’)
(‘year 2’)
(i always wanted to own a ‘marshall tube stack’…)
(just like ‘slash’ used to play through…)
(i was never much of a ‘gearhead’)
(‘gibson les paul’ through ‘marshall stack’)
(almost the very ‘definition’ of (classic?) ‘rock n roll’)
(as we know it today…)
(the ‘guitarist’ from my ‘college band’ (‘will gaybrick’) used to play through a ‘marshall stack’…)
(i eventually i opted for the ‘VOX AC30’ in ‘early 2006’)
(and probably ‘pawned’ both of those ‘marshall amps’ for a really low price)
(as i’m usually ‘in dire straits’)
(at least ‘financially’…)
