the thesis preparation class was called “Economics 985h”.
the advisors for the class were “jen hilscher” and “vardges levonyan”.
when i ended up dropping the thesis, they gave me a “B” for the first semester of the class.
it was very nice of them…
my thesis advisor was an utterly unhelpful foreigner named “attila ambrus”*.
supposedly an expert on game theory, he’d never even heard of “texas hold’em”.
(*no, not the hungarian “whiskey robber”…just a boring middle-aged college professor…*)
