(and fool them into thinking i would make a good tenant)

i need to start demanding “lebensraum”…
the problem of private property is the essential dilemma of mankind…
it seems fundamentally ludicrous that a man can be born into a world in which all habitable land is already “owned”…
a world in which he already must submit to the laws of a governing body…acquire land through economic means…
as well as various modes of transportation…
always bracing myself for an encounter with the dotheads @ the motel…
i should really clean up the cigarette butts around my room…
forge alliances with the clerks @ CVS…
the gas station attendants charging me $1.75 last time when a black n mild is really $1.50…
and the motel front desk claimed that they were out of black n milds…
the liquor store cashier gave me a 10 cent break on a pack of maverick menthol cigarettes…
i asked if there were any cigarettes on sale for $8…
(they were actually $8.10)…
i handed him a $10 bill and he gave me $2 back…
guess he likes me…
i just needed to make sure i had $15.75 to get back to NYC…
i’ve pushed my luck at the franklin corners liquor store…
the young indian dude gave me a 12-pack of natural ice for free last friday when my debit card was declined…
he could’ve just charged $8 to it (that’s how much was left)…
now i owe him…
but i foolishly returned to the liquor store bar that night while thoroughly shitfaced and he asked me to leave…
the last item i bought was a tall iced coffee at starbucks on thursday afternoon…
the last $2 in my account…
