written december 2009 around a descending Aminor guitar riff during one of many stoned evenings…
it was a “back to basics” approach to composition (as i believe Aminor to be the most basic key)…the key to this particular song was the Aminor to F#minor transition…
it was written about my wholly unsuccessful attempts to woo the cafe orlin waitresses…over the winter from 2009 –> 2010 i continued to edit the tune…i consider it a sequel of sorts to my winter 2007 track “valentine’s day”…
