(i went to this station on 1 or 2 occasions)
(as alternative to ‘7th avenue station’)
(it’s a real grind here)
(although the ‘angel’ backdrop is nice)
(and it’s closer than 7th avenue)
(spent time practicing the ‘abbey road’ songs)

*27 JANUARY 2017*
(hit up the station in desperation friday night)
(needed $3 for subway fare)
(and was missing a B string)
(and promptly broke a G string)
(so the guitar wouldn’t stay in tune at all)
(resorted to “blues” mode)
(my voice felt great that day)
(managed to make $3.25 in a half-hour)
(some old men asked me “is your voice amplified?”)
(black girl and black man also gave me a $1)
(then i caught the 2 train to 14th + 6th at 5:30pm)
