(the year before i started playing guitar)

*tales from the ‘mounts motel’*
(now i’m reduced to recording with a pair of ‘apple headphones’…)

and when they failed i resorted to a pair of hot pink headphones i found in my carrying case…
they must’ve belonged to cheryl or emily…
they work just fine for now…
i just crank up the “headphones” dial on the preamp…
so cheryl bought me a new pair of headphones from the verizon store in spring 2014…
when they didn’t sound any better than my apple headphones (in terms of volume) i went to a trenton pawnshop and made ~$65 on the deal…
that was when i was going to the ‘job search program’ down the street at ‘mercer county community college’…
the deadbeat gilvear pointed me to the pawn shop…
when he saw i was going to make some money on the deal he started begging for $10…
said he’d pay me back the following week…
not wanting to deal with him, i just gave him the $10…
he said he’d pay me back $12…
then retracted the offer and said since we were “friends” i shouldn’t charge him an extra $2…
the next week i had to track him down for the money…
(he was trying to pay back all sorts of people in the general vicinity)
(i must’ve been the ‘weakest creditor’)
(he finally gave me $5 after i hassled him)

(i later ran into him at “new horizons”)

*10 JANUARY 2017*
(the old man gave me a good pair of black sony headphones)
(after i lost my ‘apple headphones’ during a blackout on thanksgiving)
(these have the ‘ear clips’)
(which i’ve always needed)
(to listen to music without worrying about your earbuds gradually falling out of your ears)
(i like to keep the earbuds on at all times)
(because it’s hard getting them on with all my hair in the way)
(unraveling ‘headphone wires’ (whether iphone/studio phones) is analogous to a good hearty chiropractor session for we ‘audiophiles’)
(…but i really should have gone wireless by now…)
(i need to get a new ‘headphone carrying case’)
(because they get tangled in my pocket)
(when i carry them to the library for my ‘internet sessions’)
