(applied for a job as ‘academic assistant’ to 2 ‘history professors’)
(i was living 3.5 miles from the ‘institute’)
(got an e-mail from the institute’s HR director ‘michael klompus’ this morning)
(i didn’t get the ‘academic assistant’ position)
he told me that it had nothing to do with my stolen social security #.
i should’ve sent out an e-mail to the professors sooner. i also made a digital faux pas in my e-mail to Nicola Di Cosmo (calling him “Professor Nicola” instead of “Professor Di Cosmo”). i wonder whether this played a role in the hiring process. and what kind of name for a man is “nicola” anyway?
(when marian first mentioned the name to me, i was anticipating some sexy lady professor)
did not get the job
(although i met both professors as well as several members of the staff)
my prospective boss told me i was overqualified for the position since i had a harvard degree…
in 2013 + 2014 i applied for several open jobs from the website:

i did not hear back for any of the jobs…
(because i lack the qualifications necessary for many of them)
(most notably lack of a ‘graduate degree’)
(although i can always lie)
