about myself as self-deprecating messianic figure
(like radioheadβs βcreepβ)
some october 2009 youtube post referenced a mixing of DNA of hitler, einstein, and dahmer????
(though i’m not gay, jewish, nor a serial killer!)
goes together with “crimson chicks”
(i as ‘cosmic creep’ / prey as ‘crimson chicks’)
(according to brit reviewer:)
β’good morning !’ rambles out on the ambling sing-a-long ‘cosmic creep’, hopefully not a reference the beloved bolan. i think notβ
(according to “TAXI”:)
the guitarist really stands out on this one too.
in fact, the entire ensemble sounds really distinctive. it’s as if you’re all seasoned professionals, but you decided to switch instruments right before they rolled tape. in a way that approach is very regressive. you’re obviously quite skilled, but have chosen to play in a deliberately loose manner. It’s structured but very chaotic at the same time. I think that’s actually an incredibly interesting approach, but unfortunately, doesn’t really suit the folks who placed this listing.
they’re searching for stuff that more easily slots in with contemporary bands like fleet foxes, Espers, Vetiver, Devendra Banhardt, Six Organs of Admittance, etc.
(who is “they”?)
