i go to the princeton CVS (on nassau street) and load up on more food
(egg salad sandwich)
(tuna salad sandwich)
(cool ranch doritos)
(arizona grapeade)
(french bread pizza (‘pepperoni’ + ‘everything’))
at first, the cashier tells me that i don’t have enough money on the EBT card
(so i put back the ‘chex mix’)
but i actually do have enough money…
we bought:
toilet paper
paper plates
clorox wipes
rolling stone magazine
(with philip seymour hoffman on cover)
large ‘red bull’)
the self-serve checkout didn’t work when i pulled away the bags too soon
(the cute little redheaded cashier helped us)
i went to CVS and bought two starbucks iced coffees and 4 string cheeses
(to wipe out the CVS rebate card with 35 cents left)
(got prescriptions filled at 1:30pm…)
(they weren’t ready until then)
