(upon further inspection, “lucy in the sky with diamonds” and “i am the walrus” aren’t all that great)
(any other lyricist would be relentlessly mocked for these ‘absurd for the sake of it’ lyrics)
(even the title ‘lucy in the sky with diamonds’ is a bit cloying)
(which is pretty unjust given how condescending he’d be towards paul’s lyrics)

terrible indeed…but really any worse than…

(leave the random wordplay to dylan, john)

(probably rightly so)
(and ‘john’ wrote a letter back in the ‘melody maker’)
(cobain: macca’s an embarrassment…”)
(then macca took over his vocal role with other two members of nirvana years after his suicide)
(that was a CRUCIAL move!)
