(then again, this is a band who gave us ‘boneheaded confederate nursery rhymes’ like “gimme three steps”)
(it remains the only ‘studio album’ by the ‘pre-crash lineup’ (ha!) to have not yet reached ‘platinum’ or higher in the ‘united states’)
(however, it did include the hits “gimme back my bullets”, “searching”, “double trouble”, and “cry for the bad man”)
(those ;song titles’ alone make me cringe in anticipation of the ;’good ole (white)boy’ trope)
(after stealing the music of the 1 black man they ever collectively encountered)
(‘dinosaur junior’ frontman ‘j mascis’ covered the song “every mother’s son” on his 1996 solo album “martin + me”)
(as for me, i don’t believe i’ve ever heard a single song from this album)
