german for “renown the wolf”…
the old man (via painter “charles valentino”) promoted the pub as a hotspot to pull chicks in summer 2005…so once i turned 21, i decided to explore…
i used to drink with madcow @ rolf’s in february 2006…i was in the midst of recording “finest hour” and thoroughly depressed…
and then when the professor finally graduated college in spring 2006 we used to head there pre-midnight for drinking sessions…
i reunited with brad lubeck @ rolf’s. the ally of fellow aryan “little max” and former boy scout “leader’s” son “little matt”. with tim ponzio in the other corner drinking with his father. madcow drinking his dry martinis before he had to go to work. and i had to record my music…
on thanksgiving 2006, lubeck drove me back from rolf’s and we smoked a blunt in his driveway…we seemed to bond as he rambled on about his entrepreneurial aspirations but he don’t dig my music so fuck him….
later that fall, i went to rolf’s for a “drink” with the old man…although he drove me there, he got thoroughly hammered and i (though in no shape to drive myself) drove us home…i reunited with my high school crush the dumataliana “carmela gonnella” as the old man continued to purchase us pitchers…for once in his life, he was serving my purposes so i didn’t complain…luckily i wasn’t pulled over…
then i agreed to meet longtime highschool crush christine fisher there one saturday evening…i brought along “little eddie” for the ride just in case…i’d already facebook posted that i was “in a relationship” (just to stop plain janes from messaging me)…so when she came onto me in the rolf’s parking lot and asked me whether i was “in love”, i was forced to lie to her…then i went and got stoned with magic dan…

the next time i found myself @ rolf’s, it was november 2012. so by the time it reached 11pm, i had no other choice but to be dropped off at rolf’s. some middle-aged blues band was performing that night. i said hello to tim the manager and bummed several cigarettes (the ladies smoked newports and the men smoked marlboro lights). after borrowing $5 from paul, i bought myself a jack and coke (for $8) and a budweiser draft (for $4). paul arrived on the scene around midnight accompanied by el madre (who was waiting in the car)
