took the 10:27am 600 bus to trenton…smoking newports…met for prevocational class at 11am…same 2 people from last class…and another middle-aged black grandmother who talked too much about her problems…i wanted to lash out at all of these useless eaters but charity the robot kept things moving at a snail’s pace…i lied to the group and said i found a job as a cashier in princeton…
done by 11:45am…went to meet with charity at noon…explained to her why i didn’t take a drug test last week…she spoke with tina…
in the meantime i had a catch-up with AI…
bit the bullet and went for a drug test after the session…know i’ll test positive for booze + THC…
got a 603 bus back right when i got to the bus stop…maniac was already ready for me with more dope…cheryl called and said she could drop off laundry…maniac met the mother…she saw me smoking a cigarette outside the motel room…”you have a very nice kid”…he’s definitely just like bergblum…”your mother’s actually very pretty”…always projecting his insecurities onto me…no food…
kept working on a song cycle entitled “an evening with rishi”…maniac left for school in the afternoon…i couldn’t wake him up to take me to the library when he got back later that evening…said he was tired and running low on gas…
we finally departed for new brunswick to pay back bradley…he gave bradley $20 for the kief he gave us the day before…bradley insisted that he only gave us $10 worth of dope so that he’d give us $10 more…we each took another hit of dab…then bradley and his girlfriend were headed out to houlihan’s…so we went back to the motel room and smoked the dope…
we headed out to the ivy inn for karaoke night before 11pm…maniac kept nodding off as we smoked cigarettes outside…i went for the $2 rolling rocks…tipping when i felt the need…sang “oh! darling” and “hard to handle”…nailed them…the cutest girls gave me props (there weren’t many)…as well as all the dudes…downed some floater beers + gin n tonics…bummed cigarettes…recognized a former guitar center colleague…some big goofy dude who played bluegrass…he pretended not to recognize me…said he had just gotten off tour with a bluegrass band in the virgin islands…he grew up in princeton…sang karaoke in a way that i could tell he wanted to be taken seriously as a singer…reminds me of a bigger luke fragnito…
also met “aron”…some (dyed?) redhead with glasses who said i used to hit on her in 2012 when she worked at mccaffrey’s…said i was a friend of “keron” (a white dude with long hair)…she said i’d always invite her back to the house…i didn’t recognize her…she didn’t seem down to hook up either…later in the evening her and her friend walked away from me when i asked them what they were looking for…
left my coat at the ivy inn…after some white dudes gave me a floater beer that wasn’t theirs (i was looking for the beer i had put down when i went to sing karaoke)…the beer must’ve belonged to some mexican playing pool…another mexican (who i had bummed a cigarette from) saw me drink two floater beers outside earlier and i was lucky he didn’t point the finger at me…
maniac was no help as a wingman…all that “you’re spitting in my face when you talk” and nodding off…we finally gave up and went to wawa…i charged it all on my EBT card (except the pizza + cigarettes)…pigged out on 3 wraps (two buffalo / one tuna) / pepper jack cheese strings / slice of pizza before bed…
