(still relying on the ‘4GB flash drive’)
(back when i twas exiled to ‘mounts motel’)
(i used ‘flash drives’ as conduits between my imac in the ‘motel room’ (which didn’t have ‘wifi’ despite what the sign tells you) and the public computers with internet access (@ “mercer county library” / ~ 20 minute walk from ‘mounts motel’ via ‘route 1’)

*OCTOBER 2014* —>
and it seems that everything slows down on the ‘lexar flash drive’ if i try to transfer more than one file at a time…
(still at the moment this ‘flash drive’ is my sole means of uploading new music to the ‘internet’…)
i need new flash drives…
why did my flash drive initially not get read by the mac?
why does the flashdrive have to be all fucked up with the trash that won’t go away?
the flashdrives got wet in my backpack…
get all my wavs backed up to the portable hard drive…
(and acquire more hard drives)
it’s a pain in the ass using this time machine backup folder
because i can’t disable the “time machine” option on the external hard drive…
i should start moving files from the “dopeland” hard drive to my new 3TB hard drive…
i finally found my old drum loops on a 2009 hard drive
along with a bunch of other interesting files
(most notably my old mp3 collection of other musicians)
(like the beach boys and wings)
(for some reason i can’t change the file folder names once i moved them to my new hard drive)
(said “quit applications and try again”)
(why can’t i open some pictures in my ‘hard drive’?)

*MARCH 2014* –>
(‘cheryl’ bought me two 32GB ‘lexar flash drives’)
(so i could transfer files from imac to internet)
(because the motel didn’t have internet connection)
(but the mercer county community college does)
(the first flash drive broke when i was struck by a car on ‘1 may 2014’)
(the second flash drive was in my pocket when i walked back to the motel in the rain (without an umbrella) on ’15 july 2014’…)
it seems to be working now…
(though i fear it will eventually corrupt…)
