*the september 11 attacks were a series of 4 coordinated ‘terrorist attacks’ by the islamic terrorist group ‘al-qaeda’ on the ‘united states’ on the morning of ’11 september 2011′ (a ‘tuesday’)*

(the attacks consisted of ‘suicide attacks’ used to target symbolic US ‘landmarks’)
(4 ‘passenger airliners’ operated by 2 major U.S. ‘passenger air carriers’ (‘united airlines’ and ‘american airlines’)—which all departed from airports on the US ‘east coast’ bound for ‘california’ — were hijacked by 19 al-qaeda terrorists to be flown into buildings)
(2 of the planes (‘american airlines flight 11’ and ‘united airlines flight 175’), were crashed into the ‘north’ and ‘south’ towers, respectively, of the ‘world trade center’ complex in ‘new york city’)
