FEBRUARY 1993:
(i broke my left arm and dislocated my left elbow in a wrestling tournament in ‘nutley’ NJ)
(my opponent was from flemington with the toresco twins)
(he did some awkward headlock attempt manuever where he ended up picking me up off the mat and i landed on my left elbow as he got 2 points for the takedown to ‘referees position’ i noticed that the arm went limp immediately and probably started crying maybe not even so much the pain (can’t remember it being especially painful actually) but more to signal to the referee to stop the match. i’d just won my quarterfinal match and had eaten some hot dogs in the nutley cafeteria before the semifinal match. 8 years old. 75 pounds.
