talked to my new friend…55-year-old robert gilvear…
i met him in the job search program at mercer county community college in march 2014…we bonded (because we were the only two white men in the program)…he advised me to ask my parents for $5K…that wasn’t happening…
then he started begging me for money…probably to buy pills…he saw i was going to pawn my headphones and told me where the nearest pawn shop was…then he hit me up for $15…i took pity on him and gave him $10…he said he’d pay me back $12 the next week when he received his monthly welfare check…i finally had to chase him down for $5…he probably thought i was soft…but he did give me cigarettes (both regular + rolled) over the course of the program…so i guess we’re even…then he had the gall to ask me for money again…not even offering to get me back the other $5 he owed me…
(oh well)
