(i went to a thursday night jam session @ david vogel’s apartment)
(in greenwich village)
i was invited by angelo (a 2012 graduate of NYU / aspiring neurologist / aspiring singer + pianist)…
i asked to crash at his pad that night but he declined…
i friended david vogel on facebook but got no response…
saw justin the next friday in WSP…
vogel had given him his phone # (even though justin has no phone)…
justin told me that vogel made sure that i wasn’t with justin…
because i was “hogging the microphone” last time…
even though i had been invited to the party because angelo heard me singing…and he asked me to play songs (as justin was actually the first person to start playing music)…and we were there for 5 hours…lots of other people played…angelo and his band…the black lady singer…the black male singers…i was up on the rooftop and fire escape smoking cigarettes for a good portion of the night…and talking to people…plus i filmed the jam session…and for a good portion of it i was singing into a microphone that wasn’t plugged in…vogel claimed that he had only one XLR cable…bullshit…oh well…another bridge burned…
justin claims that he’s not a fan…too “pretentious”…
and i think vogel ushered him out ’round 2am…
(is it even worth it to confront him on FB?)
