(prior to this battle (near modern Zama, Tunisia) Scipio also conquered Carthage’s holdings in the Iberian peninsula, culminating in the ‘Battle of Ilipa’ (near Alcalá del Río, Spain) in 206 BC against Hannibal’s brother ‘Mago Barca’)
