*OUR APPEARANCES* –>
*OCTOBER 2003*
played our first show there in ‘october 2003’)
(the ‘basement stage’ as opposed to the more prestiguous ‘main room’)
(reminded me of manhattan’s “club rehab”)
(my voice wasn’t in the best shape then)
(which meant that after a few songs i totally lost my falsetto +butchered cover songs like ‘sweet child o mine’)
(though i had no business attempting those high notes back then)
(and lowering songs by an octave never sounds good in my experiences)
.
*SPRING 2004*
(played another show there in ‘spring 2004’)
(upstairs)
(i remember it being 1 of our best sets up to that point)
(booking contact ‘ed’ wanted to book us for ‘valentine’s day 2004 show’)
(the rest of the band would rather party)
(i offered to play an ‘acoustic show’ but he was only looking for an ‘ensemble set’)
