preventing tabs with unsaved form input from being discarded

is there a way to prevent tabs with unsaved form input (like wordpress editors) from being discarded?
or at least give a prompt to save before it is discarded?
the app works better than great suspenderr, but i usually work with a lot of wordpress editors open so that changes aren’t necessarily saved when tab is automatically discarded.
i’m usually able to revert back to last auto-save, but i’d rather just totally prevent any tab with unsaved input from being discarded automatically
even the ‘prompt’ on the great suspender would yank you back from whatever you were doing once the ‘suspend timer’ hit and there was unsaved input
