OK, step by step.
*Mix Window.
*Create a Stereo Instrument track and name it Drum Loop.
*Click Insert selector A and select Xpand!.
*From the Xpand! Librarian Menu select Folder 28 Loops.
*Then click 26 Drum n Bass 160 01.
*Edit Window.
*Then change the Tempo to match that of the loop tempo you have just chosen (160)
*Click ‘Add Tempo Change’ button and enter 160 quarter notes.
*Mix Window.
*The Xpand! Smart Display has a readout of the loops Original Pitch. (G below middle C)
*Edit Window.
*Select Edit Mode ‘Grid’.
*Select the Pencil tool.
*Right-click the Track Height selector and select ‘Fit to Window’ or Extreme.
*Click the MIDI Zoom Out button once.
*Then find G below middle C (G2).
*Click and drag for 4 Bars or Measures.
*Then repeat, click and drag for another 4 Bars/Measures.
*Now press Play

By definition, the ‘Pencil tool’ draws/creates MIDI triggers that’ll in turn trigger the drum loop samples loaded with Xpand! when the Playback cursor crosses them
