sibelius 7
(released july 2011)
downloaded a 30-day trial on 17 april 2013
(just like i did with final cut pro in summer 2012)
the sibelius 4 files are compatible…
(which means i can take screenshots of all my guitar tabs and post them to this blog)
“sibelius first”
N to switch between note input and editing
shift β alt β 1 for crosshead noteheads
shift β alt β 2 for diamond noteheads
my 30-day sibelius trial has ended…
i can still open projects but i just can’t save new projects…
at least i can get screenshots of old guitar tabs to post to the wordpress account (for a safe backup)…
.
sibelius is a london-based company (part of avid technology)
the first version of the program was released in 1993
i started notating my music in “sibelius” in fall 2006…
the professor downloaded it for me via utorrent…
i’d rather just pay for it (if i can afford it)…
it was version 4 (released in july 2005)…
beginning in september 2006, i started scoring my drum tracks in sibelius and subsequently importing the MIDI files into cubase (so they’d play through the “halionONE” and “prologue” programs)…
i lost the program when my dell computer crashed in october 2010…
