“28 MARCH 2019” –>
hi,, operating in macbook on google chrome.
i’ve been trying to tweak the ‘reusable blocks’ menu that comes up when inserting new block.
there are a few blocks that i would like to come up first because i use them as labels everyday.
i see that you can search text to find blocks and that ‘most used’ appear at top of window.
But i noted that ‘most used’ block order seems to change session. and scrolling to bottom of window for the ‘reusable blocks’ also has the order changed haphazardly (not quite chronologically or alphabetically)
is there a way i can select 4 or 5 reusable blocks to always be at the top of the window?
thanks!

Hi there, glad you are enjoying the reusable blocks so extensively.
Have you tried the Slash command + partial block name in your editor?
And example: I use a media + text block for the announcement of our Live Q & A.
And I create one for every event.
I prefix them with “lqa: April 5” then when I want to add it to the next post or page, I hit enter at the end of the previous block that gives me a new line and then I type “/lqa” and then gives me a list of the blocks starting with “lqa” and I can select the one I need via the arrow keys.
you can use the slash command for inserting any kind of block and it works like the search on top of the block inserter.
Let me know if I explained it well enough. If not come back here and let me know what doesn’t work.
To rename your reusable blocks you can do that via Top Menu – 3 dots menu – “Manage reusable blocks”.
You probably found this space already.
(good luck!)
