What is “Search with camera”?
“Search with camera” enables you to search for products using your camera.
You can use “Search with camera” to find products such as books, toys, video games, electronics, home & kitchen items, apparel, shoes, and watches

How can I search for products?
You can search for products by pointing your camera at the product and tapping the search button.
“Search with camera” will return results that match your search.
Alternatively, you can select a photo from your phone’s photo gallery and “Search with camera” will return results that match your search

How do people use “Search with camera”?
Many people use “Search with camera” when they see an interesting product and they want to buy it on Amazon, or learn more about it.
People also use “Search with camera” to re-order items:
for example, if they run out of cereal, they can point the camera at the front of the cereal box or its barcode and find it on Amazon

I don’t get the results I was looking for. What might be going on?

If you don’t get the results you wish to find, you can check for the following issues:
Make sure the entire product is in the camera view before you tap to start your search.
Check that the product is well-lit but not too bright.
If the product you are searching for is too far, you can move closer or pinch and zoom on your camera to fit the entire product in camera view.

Why am I getting a network error?
“Search with camera” needs an internet connection (over wifi or data network) to search.
If you can’t access the internet right now, you will get a network error message.
To get around this network error, you can take a photo of the product, save it in your phone’s gallery and use “Search with camera” when you have internet connectivity

How do I delete images?
You can delete all images associated with your account by going to….
“Your Account”
“Manage Amazon App Camera Images”
