I held off on more rap attempts today since my voice was really hoarse this morning from all the rapping last night
(it is actually harder than it sounds to get a solid rap voice on record)
instead, I concentrated on getting the right guitar sound on the song
(aiming for rick rubenesque “dry” heavy guitars on Beastie Boys tracks like “Fight For Your Right To Party”)…
