(i was paid a $100 bar tab)
(i used it for dinner and several drinks)
(i had no time to spend it all)
(and they wouldn’t carry it over for another night)

i was invited to perform a few days later…
(mama couldn’t drive me this time)
(fred marigliano offered to drive me there)
(but he couldn’t drive me back)
(his son was in the hospital)
(so i ultimately declined)
(from then on, i was unable to book a show @ the ‘A+B’)
