*’control-click’ chrome dock icon and set to ‘show on all desktops’*
(you can’t perform this action if you are viewing the dock in ‘mission control’)
(because ‘dock’ is shown in ‘mission control’ even if you normally keep it hidden)

*to show ‘dock’* in ‘normal mode’ –>

*create a 2nd ‘desktop’ for ‘pro tools’*
(with ‘pro tools logo’ as background)

*to open ‘system preferences’ in all ‘workspaces’, control-click the ‘system preferences’ icon in your ‘dock’*
(just like you did for ‘google chrome’)

*set ‘system preferences’ to be assigned to ‘all desktops’* –>

*open the ‘desktop/screensaver preference pane’ in your ‘system preferences window’*
*in ‘top menu bar’, click the ‘apple button’ in ‘top left corner’ to open ‘system preferences’*
