foodstamps card refilled…nasty shits…two vanilla frapuccinos and a doubleshot espresso…booze withdrawals… hit up A+B open mic tonight… posted some short vids to the internet…got a like from jesse neadle…mike rolland is starting to like my latest vids…smoking newports to stave off withdrawals… down to $60…should i splurge on another 12-pack?…or just drink? gotta write a new song called “rishi”…inspired last night to write new music…dedicate it to anne-katrine + rishi…a foreign blonde aryan au pair and a busty all-american indian nursery school teacher…get them both in bed this week… now maniac is at the library…needs to use my remaining minutes… went back to the room…he wanted to go to princeton…so i put some more tracks onto the hard drive and we left ’round 5:15pm…he didn’t want to get more dope from his cousin because he claims that his 19-year-old cousin is fucking his ex-girlfriend (in his house no less)…what a delusional psychopath…he said he’d get me “grass i could smoke”…we’ll see…he dropped me off on witherspoon and i went to the library…for some reason the computers were set to shut down @ 6pm…and the google chrome was operating slowly…”waiting for cache”…what the fuck?…i need to drink and/or smoke…the withdrawals are bad…and i’m perpetually paranoid in princeton…drizzly outside… gandharva still not returning my calls… 9:30pm open mic…then karaoke night…hit up anne-katrine…get laid tonight…then go to therapy session tomorrow…but don’t take urine test until saturday… so there wasn’t an open mic on wednesday? (i was looking forward to it) (gandharva told me the girl that runs it now is cute) maniac and i arrived sometime before 9:30pm… (after already venturing out to the princeton library earlier in the evening) so we went to the ivy inn…it was dead…maniac drove around and i bought myself 3 rolling rocks ($2 each)…no tips…they didn’t have PBR that night…i smoked newports outside and talked to damkani in the freezing cold…didn’t even bother singing karaoke… then maniac returned sometime ’round 11:30pm…he said he had a dope connection in new brunswick…his former co-worker at “on the border”…26-year-old bradley…and his cute brunette girlfriend monica (another former co-worker)…we took the half-hour drive to their apartment…first we stopped in a fast food place run by an african man…maniac bought me a peach snapple and a beef patty…we ate in the restaurant…i took a leak in a liquor store… brad had “keef” and “dabs”…they were watching “weeds”…they smoked us out and maniac was rambling inappropriately about his struggles in the psych ward…i played the mocking sidekick…brad gave us a bag of kief and maniac said he’d pay him the next day…i tried to signal to maniac that we should get going…we left after an hour…i told the two of them to facebook me (i doubt they care)… then we went back to the room and smoked dope…he got pissed when i referred to him as a “castrated cobain”…threatened to knock me out…then he started playing guitar + singing loudly after we got stoned…right when i was about to begin recording a new song in a burst of inspiration…
i held my tongue but couldn’t help but snicker when he started playing what sounded to be the introduction to the smashing pumpkins “today”…
he had been mimicking my “double laugh” / vowel pronunciations / vocal cadences all night…
being hypersensitive to my reactions he started calling me a “music snob” that couldn’t work with other “musicians”…
another buzz killed, i lashed out at him…
told him that if wanted to physically threaten me, he’d have to leave… he started to gather the dope and leave…then he said “do you want to reconsider this?”…he needs my company and i need his dope…(cue “pineapple express”)…
now i’m being played by seth rogen…
so we smoked a cigarette outside and cooled out…
i gave up on recording and began organizing old files…
